CONTINENTAL XR16SC HIGH-FLEX HYDRAULIC HOSE WITH EXTENDED LIFE COVER
The Continental XR16SC is a premium compact hydraulic hose engineered for extreme performance in tight installations. Built with one or two high-tensile steel wire braids (depending on size) and featuring Continentals exclusive Extended Life synthetic rubber cover, this hose delivers exceptional flexibility, abrasion resistance, and reliability under high pressure.
Designed to exceed SAE100R16 and SAE100R2AT standards, XR16SC is the smart upgrade for mobile hydraulic equipment, agricultural machinery, or any system that demands long-lasting, high-performance hosing with a tighter bend radius.
Construction:
- Tube: Nitrile (NBR) Oil-resistant synthetic rubber
- Reinforcement: One or two braids of high-tensile steel wire (based on size)
- Cover: Continentals Extended Life synthetic rubber Extreme abrasion resistance
- Temperature Range: -40°C to +100°C (up to +121°C intermittent)
Compatible Fittings:
- Continental B2 One-Piece Crimp Couplings for 1-wire and 2-wire hose systems
- Compatible with standard crimpers and mobile service units

- Earthmoving and construction equipment where hoses are exposed to flexing and abrasion
