- End 1: JIS Male 30° Seat, BSPP Thread Form (JIS B8363)
- End 2: BSPT Male British Standard Pipe Taper (ISO 7/1)
DESCRIPTION:
The 1ST adaptor provides a straight connection between a JIS Male thread and a BSPT Male thread. The JIS side follows the Japanese Industrial Standard for BSP-style threads with a 30° cone seat, sealing metal-to-metal. The BSPT side features a traditional British tapered thread that seals via thread interference using sealant or tape. This fitting is ideal for integrating older Japanese equipment or hose ends into systems that use BSPT pipework.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Joining JIS hydraulic fittings or hoses to BSPT-threaded components
- Used in Japanese-made tractors, industrial equipment, and fluid systems
- Supports hydraulic, fuel, and oil line connections in mixed-thread environments
SUITS THESE MACHINES:
- Mitsubishi, Iseki, Shibaura, Yanmar, and other Japanese agricultural machines
- Imported implements or pumps using JIS 30° cone fittings
- Pipework and tank fittings with BSPT female ports
THREAD & SEAL DETAILS:
- JIS: BSPP-style parallel thread with 30° cone seat (JIS B8363)
- BSPT: ISO 7/1 tapered thread; requires thread tape or hydraulic sealant
- Note: JIS BSP is not interchangeable with Komatsu JIS Metric confirm thread before installing
