BTM-JSFX – BSPT Male x BSPP (JIS) Female Swivel Hydraulic Adaptor is purpose-built for connecting BSP-threaded hydraulic systems to equipment or hoses that use the JIS 30° cone seat. Although BSPP and JIS share the same thread form, they do not seal the same way – JIS uses a 30° inverted cone, while standard BSP fittings typically seal on a bonded washer or 60° cone.
Because of this difference, BSPP and JIS fittings cannot be safely interchanged without the correct cone-seat adaptor. The BTM-JSFX provides the proper sealing interface, allowing BSP systems to be adapted to JIS connections commonly found on Japanese machinery and equipment.
The swivel female end allows the hose to rotate freely during installation, preventing hose twist and making alignment simple. The BSPT male thread provides strong mechanical engagement to pull the JIS cone seat tight, resulting in a positive, leak-free hydraulic seal.
Precision-machined from high-strength carbon steel and finished with a durable zinc-plated coating, the BTM-JSFX adaptor delivers excellent corrosion resistance and long service life in demanding hydraulic environments.
