DESCRIPTION:
This crossover union adaptor connects an ORFS male fitting to a JIC 37° female swivel. Perfect for equipment conversions or joining systems built with different thread types, this fitting ensures a high-integrity seal using an O-ring flat face on one end and a metal-to-metal cone seat on the other. It€™s compact, strong, and designed for demanding mobile hydraulic systems.
THREAD EXPLANATIONS:
ORFS (SAE J1453): Provides a flat face seal with a captured O-ring, commonly used in OEM systems due to its vibration resistance and leak-free performance.
JIC (SAE J514): Seals with a 37° metal-to-metal cone, widely used in North American and Australian hydraulic equipment due to its reliability and ease of connection.
