- End 2: ORFS Female Swivel (O-Ring Face Seal SAE J1453)
DESCRIPTION:
This crossover adaptor connects an ORB (UNO) male thread to an ORFS female swivel fitting, allowing conversion between two highly reliable SAE thread systems. The ORFS swivel provides a flat-face O-ring seal, while the UNO male seals internally against a flat-faced port. Designed for high-pressure, leak-free performance in critical fluid power systems.
THREAD EXPLANATIONS:
UNO (ORB SAE J514): Seals with an O-ring inside the male fitting compressed against a port face. Common in cylinders and valves.
ORFS (SAE J1453): Flat-face, O-ring sealed swivel fittings preferred in OEM machinery for leak-proof, high-vibration environments.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
