DESCRIPTION:

This classic run tee adaptor connects an NPT male to a fixed NPT female and adds a third NPT female outlet at 90°. Used extensively in American hydraulic and pneumatic systems where all ports must use tapered threads sealed with thread compound or tape.

THREAD EXPLANATION:

NPT (National Pipe Taper): Tapered threads that seal by thread deformation. No O-ring required; must use thread sealant.

COMMON APPLICATIONS:

Distributing flow in North American equipment
Branching NPT lines in cylinders, valves, or manifolds
Use in air, water, and oil pressure systems
