- End 2: UNO Male O-Ring Boss (ORB, SAE J1926)
DESCRIPTION:
The 1JO adaptor joins a JIC 37° flare male fitting to a UNF O-ring boss (ORB) male port. The JIC side seals with a metal-to-metal flare, while the UNO side seals with an O-ring compressed against a flat-faced female port. This hex nipple is ideal for connecting hoses to hydraulic valves or manifolds in SAE-standard systems where mixed thread types are used.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Connecting JIC hose ends to UNO (ORB) ports on pumps, valves, and cylinders
- Used in mobile equipment, agriculture, mining, and industrial hydraulics
- Ideal for hydraulic systems with a mix of JIC and ORB fittings
