PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Continental SG Series BSPT Male One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are designed for extreme high-pressure hydraulic applications where tapered pipe thread connections are required. Manufactured as a single-piece forged construction, these couplings eliminate potential leak paths caused by welding or brazing. The Bite-to-Wire interlocking insert maximizes coupling retention, while full-length crimp technology ensures superior sealing and holding strength without skiving even under extreme pressure cycles.

BSPT THREAD EXPLANATION:

BSPT (British Standard Pipe Tapered) threads feature a tapered male thread which seals via metal-to-metal thread interference combined with thread sealant or PTFE tape. BSPT is widely used in hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial systems throughout Australia, New Zealand, Europe, and Asia for pressure-tight threaded connections.
