PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Continental SG Series 45° Metric Heavy Female Swivel One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are engineered for extreme high-pressure hydraulic applications requiring angled routing. Built from a single piece of high-strength carbon steel, these couplings eliminate welds or brazes that could lead to leaks. Bite-to-Wire interlocking retention provides superior holding strength, while full-length crimp technology ensures leak-free performance all without skiving. The 45° configuration allows for more flexible hose routing in confined spaces while maintaining full sealing integrity under high pressure.
METRIC HEAVY (DKS) THREAD EXPLANATION:
DIN Metric Heavy threads are commonly used in European and forestry hydraulic equipment. They utilize a 24° cone sealing system with straight metric threads. The female swivel tightens against a male fitting using metal-to-metal sealing, commonly found on brands such as Volvo CE, Liebherr, Hitachi, and European-built attachments for mining, forestry, and civil works.
