PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Continental SG Series 90° Metric Heavy Female Swivel One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are engineered for high-pressure hydraulic systems requiring compact hose routing and sharp bends. Manufactured from a single forged piece of high-strength carbon steel, they eliminate brazed or welded joints that can fail under pressure. Bite-to-Wire interlocking technology maximizes hose retention, while full-length crimping delivers superior sealing performance with no skiving required. The 90° swivel design allows for tight, efficient installations in confined hydraulic systems while maintaining full sealing integrity even under extreme pressures.
METRIC HEAVY (DKS) THREAD EXPLANATION:
DIN Metric Heavy threads are widely used in European, forestry, and construction hydraulic systems. These fittings use a 24° cone metal-to-metal sealing surface with straight metric threads. The female swivel secures to a male fitting with a cutting ring or sealing cone, providing reliable leak-free performance under high-pressure conditions. Commonly found on equipment brands such as Liebherr, Volvo CE, Hitachi, and European-built attachments across mining, civil, and forestry industries.
