PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Continental SG Series Metric Heavy Male One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are engineered for extreme high-pressure hydraulic systems where direct male DIN Metric Heavy (DKS) connections are required. The one-piece forged carbon steel construction eliminates welds or brazes that can fail under pressure. The Bite-to-Wire interlocking insert ensures superior hose retention while full-length crimp technology delivers consistent sealing integrity with no skiving required. Perfect for equipment using direct port or manifold Metric Heavy Male thread interfaces.

METRIC HEAVY (DKS) THREAD EXPLANATION:

DIN Metric Heavy (DKS) threads feature a 24° cone sealing face with straight metric threads. The male thread seals against a female swivel with a matching 24° cone seat. This system is common in European, forestry, mining, and construction equipment built by manufacturers such as Volvo CE, Liebherr, Hitachi, and others requiring high-pressure, leak-free performance in demanding hydraulic applications.
