PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Continental SG Series 45° Metric Light Female Swivel One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are precision-engineered for hydraulic systems where angled routing is needed. Built from a single piece of high-strength carbon steel, these fittings eliminate brazed or welded joints that create potential leak paths. The Bite-to-Wire design locks securely onto the hose reinforcement, while the full-length crimp provides a consistent, high-integrity seal with no skiving required. This 45° version allows more flexible installation in tight hydraulic spaces.

METRIC LIGHT (DKL) THREAD EXPLANATION:

DIN Metric Light (DKL) fittings use straight metric threads and a 24° cone seat to create a reliable metal-to-metal seal. This system is widely used in lighter hydraulic circuits across European equipment in agriculture, forestry, and material handling. Brands like Claas, Deutz-Fahr, Fendt, and others rely on DKL threads for compact, low to medium pressure hydraulic systems.
