PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Continental SG Series 90° Metric Light Female Swivel One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are designed for high-pressure hydraulic systems that require a compact elbow configuration for efficient routing. Made from a single forged piece of high-strength carbon steel, these fittings eliminate the weak points associated with brazed or welded joints. Bite-to-Wire technology ensures a tight grip on the hose reinforcement, while the full-length crimp delivers excellent sealing integrity no skive required. The 90° swivel angle is perfect for confined or complex hydraulic layouts where straight fittings wont fit.
METRIC LIGHT (DKL) THREAD EXPLANATION:
DIN Metric Light (DKL) threads are based on a 24° cone seat system with straight metric threads. The female swivel tightens against a matching male cone to form a reliable metal-to-metal seal. These threads are common in European-designed equipment, especially in agriculture, material handling, and lighter hydraulic systems from brands like Claas, Fendt, Deutz-Fahr, and more.
