PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
Continental SG Series 45° Code 62 Flange One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are designed for ultra high-pressure hydraulic systems that require compact, angled hose routing. The forged one-piece body eliminates welded or brazed seams, providing a safer and longer-lasting solution in demanding environments. These fittings use Bite-to-Wire technology to deliver maximum hose retention and are crimped full-length for a strong, reliable seal no skive required. The 45° flange connection provides added flexibility in tight spaces while maintaining the 6000 PSI performance required by SAE Code 62 systems.
CODE 62 FLANGE EXPLANATION:
SAE Code 62 flanges are designed for use in high-pressure hydraulic systems up to 6000 PSI. These 4-bolt flange fittings use a flat-face O-ring seal and are commonly found in mining, construction, forestry, and industrial applications. Code 62 flanges are larger and heavier than Code 61 (3000 PSI) flanges and are not interchangeable due to differing bolt patterns and pressure ratings.
