PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The SG-OFFX ORFS Female Swivel Coupling is designed for high-pressure hydraulic systems requiring leak-free, vibration-resistant sealing. Built from a single piece of forged carbon steel, this coupling eliminates the risks associated with brazed or welded joints. It features a flat-face O-ring sealing surface (SAE J1453) and swivel nut for easy alignment during installation. Ideal for tight hydraulic plumbing where clean sealing is critical such as modern skid steers, telehandlers, logging equipment, and agricultural attachments.
With Bite-to-Wire retention, full-length crimping, and no skive assembly, this fitting delivers exceptional strength and performance when paired with Continental spiral hoses rated up to 6000 PSI.
ORFS THREAD EXPLANATION:
ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) fittings use straight threads and a flat-face interface with an embedded O-ring. When torqued against a corresponding ORFS male or port, the elastomeric O-ring is compressed for a hydraulic-grade seal ideal for high-pressure and high-vibration applications. These fittings are common on Caterpillar, Bobcat, Kubota, and many American machines.
