PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

The SG-OFM is a one-piece ORFS Male coupling designed for spiral hydraulic hose applications requiring flat-face, zero-leak performance. Compliant with SAE J1453, it features a straight thread with an integrated elastomeric O-ring for face sealing under extreme pressures, vibrations, and temperature fluctuations.

Manufactured from a single forged steel body with no brazing or welds, SG fittings deliver maximum strength and sealing integrity. This coupling uses Bite-to-Wire technology and is designed for full-length crimping providing unmatched pull-out resistance. Ideal for mobile and industrial systems running Continental spiral hoses rated up to 6000 PSI, and requiring no skive for assembly.

ORFS THREAD EXPLANATION:

ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) Male connections have straight threads and a machined face with an embedded O-ring. When torqued against a matching ORFS female or port, the O-ring compresses to form a positive seal. This is one of the most leak-resistant connection styles in hydraulics, commonly used in construction, ag, and forestry equipment.
