Description
TYPE:
Straight Male x Male Nipple – Metric DKS Male x Metric DKS Male
CONNECTIONS:
- End 1: Metric DKS Male – DIN 2353 Heavy Series, 24° Cone
- End 2: Metric DKS Male – DIN 2353 Heavy Series, 24° Cone
DESCRIPTION:
The 1D adaptor is a straight nipple with Metric DKS Male threads on both ends, designed for joining DIN 2353 Heavy Series (DKS) fittings. These fittings use a 24° cone for metal-to-metal sealing and are rated for high-pressure systems. The DKS series features thicker walls and deeper threads compared to DKL (Light Series), making it ideal for demanding hydraulic applications.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Connecting DIN 2353 Heavy Series hoses and ports in high-pressure hydraulic systems
- Used in forestry, mining, construction, and industrial machinery
- Suited for hydraulic actuators, manifolds, and rigid pipe installations
- Reliable performance in systems with high impulse or vibration
SUITS THESE MACHINES:
- Volvo CE, Liebherr, and other European heavy equipment OEMs
- Logging harvesters, crushers, and quarry machines using DIN-based hydraulics
- Stationary industrial equipment with DIN 2353 heavy fittings
THREAD & SEAL DETAILS:
- DKS: Metric thread – DIN 2353 Heavy Series (ISO 8434-1)
- 24° cone – metal-to-metal seal between male cone and female seat
- Note: DKS is heavier duty than DKL and intended for higher pressures
