DESCRIPTION:

The 1N adaptor features NPT male threads on both ends and is designed for use in tapered thread hydraulic, pneumatic, or fluid systems. NPT threads seal through thread interference and require PTFE tape or hydraulic thread sealant to prevent leaks. This nipple is commonly used for joining or extending NPT-threaded components in pipework, manifolds, or hose assemblies.

COMMON APPLICATIONS:

  • Connecting two female NPT ports or hose ends
  • Used in oil, gas, compressed air, and hydraulic installations
  • Ideal for retrofitting, repairs, and general-purpose plumbing

SUITS THESE MACHINES:

  • American-built equipment such as CAT, John Deere, Bobcat, and Case
  • Industrial skids, compressors, tanks, and fluid control systems

THREAD & SEAL DETAILS:

  • NPT: ANSI B1.20.1 tapered thread seal; requires thread tape or liquid sealant
