DESCRIPTION:
The 1NB adaptor connects NPT Male to BSPP Male threads in a straight nipple configuration, enabling compatibility between American tapered pipe systems and British flat-faced hydraulic components. The NPT side requires thread tape or sealant to create a leak-free seal, while the BSPP side seals against a bonded washer or O-ring face. This fitting is ideal for retrofitting, field repairs, or bridging imported and domestic hydraulic systems.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Adapting NPT-threaded hose or pipework to BSPP-threaded valves or ports
- Used in fluid power systems, pumps, cylinders, and manifolds
