- End 2: BSPP Male Parallel Pipe Thread (ISO 1179-1)
DESCRIPTION:
The 1TG adaptor bridges a tapered BSPT thread to a parallel BSPP port. The BSPT side seals via thread interference, while the BSPP side seals against a flat face with a bonded washer. This fitting is used when connecting BSPT-threaded hose ends or pipes into BSPP hydraulic components such as valves or cylinders.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Connecting tapered pipe threads to BSPP valve or manifold ports
- Used in fluid transfer, hydraulic control systems, and tank setups
