DESCRIPTION:
This crossover adaptor joins a JIC male connection to an ORFS female swivel, providing a reliable solution for interfacing two of the most common hydraulic thread systems. With a 37° flare on one side and a flat-face O-ring on the other, it€™s ideal for hose-to-port or hose-to-hose conversions between SAE systems.
THREAD EXPLANATIONS:
JIC (SAE J514): Seals via metal-to-metal flare, commonly found in older equipment and general hose systems.
ORFS (SAE J1453): Flat face with embedded O-ring for superior sealing performance in high-pressure and vibration environments.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
