DESCRIPTION:
This adaptor allows you to connect a BSPT male thread into an ORFS hose assembly. It converts tapered British threads into flat-face O-ring sealed systems €” providing improved leak resistance and vibration performance. Ideal for upgrading or adapting hydraulic machinery with mixed standards.
THREAD EXPLANATIONS:
BSPT (Tapered ISO 7/1): Seals via thread interference; widely used on older equipment and industrial systems.
ORFS (SAE J1453): Flat-face O-ring sealed swivel widely used in OEM applications for high-pressure, leak-proof connections.
