DESCRIPTION:
The 9B is a BSPP female threaded cap designed to seal male BSPP threads on hydraulic valves, ports, or fittings. Commonly used during system shutdowns, servicing, or transport, this cap prevents fluid leakage and contamination. Seals using a bonded washer against the flat face of the male fitting.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Sealing BSPP male threads on valves, pumps, test ports, and manifolds
- Temporary or permanent fluid containment in British-threaded hydraulic systems
