JIC Male x NPT Male Run Tee

CONNECTIONS:

DESCRIPTION:

This hybrid run tee features a JIC Male on one end, NPT Male on the other run, and a JIC Male branch outlet. Used for interfacing SAE 37° flare lines with NPT-tapered threaded components or systems. Ideal for USA-built equipment where cross-threading is required.

THREAD EXPLANATION:

JIC (SAE J514): 37° flare metal seal. Common for hoses, valves, and tube fittings.

NPT (ANSI B1.20.1): Tapered thread sealed by thread deformation. Requires thread tape or paste.

COMMON APPLICATIONS:

  • Adapting JIC hose systems to NPT valves or cylinders
  • North American OEM repairs and upgrades
  • Workshop plumbing and retrofits
