DESCRIPTION:
This crossover tee connects two JIC male fittings inline and adds a BSPT fixed female outlet on the branch. Used to add a British tapered thread outlet to an SAE JIC line, especially where taper thread fittings or sensors must be added without changing hose routing.
THREAD EXPLANATION:
JIC (SAE J514): 37° metal-to-metal flare seal for easy assembly and high vibration resistance.
BSPT (ISO 7/1): British tapered thread, sealed by thread deformation using thread tape or paste.
COMMON APPLICATIONS:
- Adding taper-threaded valves or sensors to JIC lines
- Branching JIC hoses with British BSPT outputs
- Hydraulic circuit modifications or diagnostics
