Designed specifically for automotive power steering pressure lines, the Gates PS188 Power Steering Hose delivers reliable performance in the demanding under-bonnet environment found in passenger vehicles, 4WDs, light commercial vehicles and machinery.
Unlike general-purpose hydraulic hose, the PS188 features a CSM synthetic rubber cover engineered to withstand the heat, ozone and contaminants commonly found around vehicle engines while maintaining long service life and flexibility.
Manufactured to meet SAE J2050 Type 1 performance requirements, this hose is suitable for replacement power steering pressure line applications where the original hose specification calls for this style of hose.
