Continental SG Series Metric Light Female Swivel One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are purpose-built for high-pressure hydraulic systems using DIN Metric Light (DKL) fittings. The single-piece construction from high-strength carbon steel eliminates potential leak paths caused by brazing or welding. Bite-to-Wire retention provides maximum grip and holding strength, while full-length crimping ensures consistent sealing integrity no skiving required. Ideal for use on European machinery with lower-pressure DIN systems where a 24° cone sealing method is standard.
METRIC LIGHT (DKL) THREAD EXPLANATION:
DIN Metric Light threads feature straight metric threads and a 24° cone seat for metal-to-metal sealing. The female swivel mates with a male fitting using this cone to achieve a reliable seal. These threads are commonly found on lighter-duty hydraulic circuits across European-made agricultural, transport, material handling, and forestry equipment including brands such as Fendt, Same Deutz-Fahr, Claas, and many OEM attachments.
