Continental SG Series Metric Light Male One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are built for high-pressure hydraulic systems using DIN Metric Light (DKL) ports or manifolds. Constructed from a single piece of high-strength carbon steel, they eliminate any weak points from welds or brazing. Bite-to-Wire engagement ensures maximum hose retention, while full-length crimping delivers a secure and consistent seal no skiving needed. Designed for light to medium hydraulic circuits, this male-threaded variant provides direct connection into compatible DKL female ports with a reliable 24° cone seal.
METRIC LIGHT (DKL) THREAD EXPLANATION:
DIN Metric Light threads use a 24° cone seat with straight metric threads. The male fitting seals against a matching female swivel by compressing the cone seat. This system is widely used in European equipment across agriculture, forestry, and material handling. Common machinery includes Claas, Fendt, Deutz-Fahr, and OEM attachments that favor lighter, compact hydraulic designs.
