Description

PRODUCT TYPE:

One Piece Crimp Coupling: Code 62 Flange (90° Elbow)

CONNECTIONS:

  • End 1: Hose Tail (Spiral Hose Series)
  • End 2: Code 62 Flange 90° Angle

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Continental SG Series 90° Code 62 Flange One-Piece Spiral Hose Couplings are built for hydraulic systems operating up to 6000 PSI where tight routing and sharp angles are required. Manufactured from a single piece of high-strength carbon steel, these fittings eliminate weld seams and brazed joints, ensuring greater strength and fewer leak points. The Bite-to-Wire retention system locks securely onto the hose reinforcement, and the full-length crimp guarantees a reliable seal. The 90° elbow design is ideal for compact installations where straight or 45° fittings won't fit. No skiving is required, reducing assembly time and ensuring long-term durability in extreme-duty applications.

CODE 62 FLANGE EXPLANATION:

SAE Code 62 flanges are heavy-duty hydraulic connections used in 6000 PSI systems. The 4-bolt flange head with flat-face and O-ring seal offers superior sealing performance. Commonly found on large earthmoving equipment, mining machinery, forestry equipment, and industrial hydraulic systems. Code 62 flanges are larger and stronger than Code 61 (3000 PSI) and use a different bolt pattern.
