PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The SG-JCM is a straight JIC Male One-Piece Coupling built for extreme pressure and reliability in hydraulic applications. Forged from high-strength carbon steel with no welds or brazed joints, it delivers leak-free performance under continuous vibration and shock loads. Featuring a 37° flare seat and straight threads per SAE J514, this fitting mates directly to female JIC swivels and ports. Designed for use with Continental spiral hoses from 3000 to 6000 PSI, the coupling utilizes Bite-to-Wire retention and full-length crimping for superior holding power and safety all with no skiving required.
JIC THREAD EXPLANATION:
JIC (Joint Industry Council) male fittings have a straight thread and 37° flare seat. They form a strong metal-to-metal seal when torqued against a JIC female swivel, providing dependable, high-pressure sealing without O-rings. JIC fittings are widely used in agricultural machinery, construction equipment, earthmoving attachments, tilt hitches, and hydraulic cylinders.
