PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The SG-OFFX45 is a 45° ORFS Female Swivel One-Piece Coupling engineered for high-pressure, vibration-prone hydraulic systems. Built from a single forged piece of carbon steel, this compact 45° elbow design allows easier hose routing around tight corners or frames, while maintaining full performance in harsh environments. With a flat-face O-ring seal conforming to SAE J1453, this fitting ensures leak-free reliability and ease of installation even under shock loads and vibration.
It features Bite-to-Wire technology and full-length crimping for maximum hose retention strength. Compatible with Continental spiral hoses rated from 3000 to 6000 PSI with no skiving required its a clean, efficient solution for OEMs, mobile repairers, and demanding hydraulic systems.
ORFS THREAD EXPLANATION:
ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) fittings use straight threads and a machined flat face with an embedded elastomeric O-ring. The swivel nut tightens against a matching ORFS male or port to compress the O-ring and form a zero-leak seal. This connection style is widely used in Caterpillar, Bobcat, and John Deere equipment, especially in high-vibration hydraulic circuits.
