The Stucchi VP-P Series is a heavy-duty, screw-to-connect flat face hydraulic coupling designed for demanding applications where high pressure, high flow and residual pressure can make conventional quick couplings difficult to connect.

Stucchi's internal pressure release system allows the VP-P to be connected with residual pressure on both sides of the coupling, while the screw-together connection provides a secure and robust connection for severe hydraulic applications.

Available from Tas Hose as male couplings, female couplings and matching protective caps/plugs across a range of sizes.

Protective caps and plugs help prevent dirt, moisture and other contaminants from entering or damaging disconnected couplings. They are particularly recommended for mobile equipment operating around dirt, aggregate and weather exposure.

Connection & Safety

Before connection, clean both flat mating faces to prevent contamination entering the hydraulic circuit. Align the male and female halves, engage the thread and screw the coupling together until the safety sleeve locks into position.

Important: Connect-under-pressure refers to residual/static pressure. Never connect or disconnect hydraulic couplings with dynamic system pressure or flow present. Connection and disconnection under residual pressure is recommended for occasional operations; where possible, relieving pressure from one side reduces operator effort and coupling wear.
